Turning 350z Heads
Hahaha quick post – just the other night I pulled up at stop light to make a left, and the 350z to my right (going straight) was checking out the car (hand over chin)… light turns green, and he’s still there eyeballin’. Not till another car zooms by does he realize that he’s been distracted by an old school Datsun Z.

Zpotted: Convertible Z
I headed over to St. John’s last week and scored a parking spot next to a convertible 350Z. Never really compared the convertible version to the 280z, so of course I snapped a few shots. With the convertible top, it looks like a much more compact cabin. Most 350z driver’s i’ve encountered aren’t really into the older Z’s, just from my experience – but just in case i posted the DailyDatsun.com print out in the passenger window :] Cheers from St. John’s!

Datsloco comes back in 2013 for it’s 8th Annual Datsun & Nissan Carshow and Swap Meet!
We got a brief chance to check out the end of the Datsloco fest last year and it was a hoot meeting all the great people and their cars there. This year the 8th Annual Datsloco event will be held on May 4th, 2013 in Manteca, CA. Here’s a map, and additional info. Get that car prep’d and ready!

Zpotted: Yellow 350z.. like me!
Old meets new on highway 101. This time, it’s a great looking 350z.. in yellow. We were in moderate morning traffic, and I was able to ride up along side him, being greeted by a smile and a peace sign. Love it.

Z Owners of Nor Cal Annual Car Show – Brisbane Marina
Z Owners of Northern California (ZONC) are having their Annual Car Show at the Brisbane Marina on July 28th, 2012!
Wow, that first sentence just sums it all up. There’ll be plenty of 240Z, 260Z, 280Z, 350Z and 370Z cars you can shake a stick at, with a special section just for the older cars. Of course plenty of 510’s, Datsun Roadsters, G35 coupes and GT-Rs will also be there in full force. I won’t be entering in 280Z just yet (plus i don’t want to spend 5 hrs there), but I’ll certainly be there to check it out. Should be a blast to see what everyone’s done with their Z cars up close and personal.

Found hanging out with a 350z
Seems like the 280z can’t get enough of hanging out with the younger crowd! It was only a few weeks ago that 40th Anniversary 370z kept the 280z company.
Parked in the San Jose Convention Center garage, I came back to the car to find a great looking 350z backed into it’s spot right next to me! haha It had a surprisingly good look for a two-tone R8-esque paint, with great rims to match its look. Since i had the camera with me, I caught them in the lens.
It’s always a Datsun/Nissan meet!
Just check out those wheels… shoot! Looks like his rim is larger than my whole tire. Sigh – those 14×6 “iron cross” wheels have got to go!
and that’s how we roll.
